(Centaura cyganus) Also known as Bluebottle. Annual. Grows 1-2 feet high. Found in cornfields throughout Britain. Flowers blue in summer. Sow in open, well drained ground in sunny position. Sow at time of year when night temperatures do not fall below 10 degrees C. Germination should take place within 14-21 days.
