Lovage

(Levisticum officinale) Lovage is a vigorous perennial which can grow up to 6 feet in height. It has large leaves and slightly greenish yellow flowers. All of the plant can be used in cooking and as a bath herb. For culinery use lovage has a celery like taste. Sow directly into final growing position from late March onwards. Thin out to 2 feet apart. Requires a good moist soil in a sunny position.
